What are your Local Institutes?

The Local Institutes are voluntary organizations led by industry professionals through a Local Council. When you join The Insurance Institute, you can choose to be part of one of five local institute communities. This membership allows you to expand your network and participate in local events relevant to your area, enhancing your professional connections and opportunities.

In this talk we will be taking a comparative look at the approaches taken in familiar jurisdictions – Ireland and England and Wales – to two issues frequently encountered by insurance practitioners. The first is the interpretation of insurance contracts generally. The second is the interpretation specifically of aggregation clauses.
