What are your Local Institutes?

The Local Institutes are voluntary organizations led by industry professionals through a Local Council. When you join The Insurance Institute, you can choose to be part of one of five local institute communities. This membership allows you to expand your network and participate in local events relevant to your area, enhancing your professional connections and opportunities.

The Insurance Institute of Limerick: Annual Dinner 2025

The Limerick President's dinner has always been the most popular event in the local institute calendar. President, Daniel Hennessy is delighted to launch this years event and invite members to book and join him and his Council on the night.

The Insurance Institute of Galway: CPD Quiz

Join The Insurance Institute of Galway President, Tracey Mullin-Ryan, and her Council for a fun evening of quizzing with the added bonus of an hours CPD available. The winning team will receive the hallowed Insurance Institute of Galway Inter Office Quiz Cup. Your entry fee also includes finger food and one free drink.

The Insurance Institute of Dublin: Teelings Whiskey Tour (CPD available)

Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Teelings Whiskey Distillery, Dublin’s finest whiskey-making establishment. This event is open to all members, however to be eligible for CPD for this tour, your designation must include the Category 5 Commercial General Insurance.
