What are your Local Institutes?

The Local Institutes are voluntary organizations led by industry professionals through a Local Council. When you join The Insurance Institute, you can choose to be part of one of five local institute communities. This membership allows you to expand your network and participate in local events relevant to your area, enhancing your professional connections and opportunities.

The Insurance Institute of Dublin: Christmas Jumper Quiz Night

We’re heading back to the Bourbon Bar for another exciting evening of trivia, laughter, and festive cheer. Gather your teams and don your most outrageous Christmas jumpers for a chance to win fantastic prizes, including an award for the best jumper of the night. Don't miss out on this merry event.

The Insurance Institute of Limerick: Annual Charities Lunch

The Insurance Institute of Limerick is delighted to invite members to join them for a Charities luncheon. This is an opportunity to kick start your festive season celebrations while raising much needed funds for the Insurance Charities. Charity collection and spot prizes on the day.

The Insurance Institute of Dublin: Family Cinema Day (Dubin)

Celebrating with members and their families is an important part of The Insurance Institute of Dublin festivities, our fun Christmas Cinema Days are always popular and this year we may also have a little surprise visitor for all of our younger guests.

The Insurance Institute of Cork: Christmas Jumper Funraiser

For the past few years, Insurance employees in Cork have supported Cork Simon at Christmas. The Insurance Institute of Cork members have raised over €10,000 for this worthy cause and we’d like to continue that great tradition. Please put on your Christmas jumper, and pledge €5 to Cork Simon, and The Insurance Institute of Cork will match it until we reach our fundraising target of €1,000. Share your snaps and follow the fun at #MoreThanAGift.

The Insurance Institute of Cork is delighted to invite members and their families to one of our best Local Institute traditions - our Annual Christmas Panto. Once again our venue is The Everyman Theatre and this year's production is Red Riding Hood.
