Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, small brokerages can definitely benefit from these employer services. Companies of all sizes can use the Corporate Approved Payment Scheme (CAPS) to streamline their interactions with The Insurance Institute, making it easier to manage memberships and educational development for staff.

By participating in CAPS, you’ll also gain access to the Employer Portal, which provides reports to help you monitor your staff's logged CPD hours, exam attendance, and pass/fail results throughout the year. This ensures that even smaller teams can efficiently manage their compliance and training needs.

  • If you are interested in joining CAPS or would like more information please contact our Corporate Account Manager, Nicola Carroll at ncarroll@iii.ie or 01 645 6625

  • No, there are no additional fees to join the CAPS scheme. Companies can sign up voluntarily to fund their staff members' annual membership fees and, if needed, exam registration fees. The scheme is designed to simplify the management of memberships and exam registrations, with invoices sent directly at the end of each month. It’s a straightforward way to streamline these processes without incurring extra costs.
